Allen's stylists left stranded in snow

Lily Allen was forced to do her own hair and makeup after her stylists were stranded in today's bad weather.

The singer appeared on GMTV this morning and told host Ben Shepherd that she had done a bad job of applying her own makeup.

"No-one turned up because of the snow so I've had to do it myself and I've got this greasy fringe - it's disgusting!" she complained.

Discussing her comeback single 'The Fear's number one chart status, the 23-year-old said: "It feels brilliant, I'm very happy - I'm just over the moon.

"I didn't really know whether I was capable of doing it all over again. It's a good bit of affirmation for me."
