Lohan and Ronson 'having problems'

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are going through a difficult time in their relationship, it has been claimed.

According to Now magazine, the couple have been struggling to maintain their partnership and may just be staying together for the sake of appearances.

A source said: "Lindsay and Sam spend more time arguing than they do loving each other.

"Lindsay's not handling her problems with Sam well. This, combined with the fact that there are no substantial acting roles coming her way, is proving too much for her.

"It's also started to affect Sam. She was hospitalised for exhaustion last month and was ready to call it quits as she felt the relationship wasn't worth her health."

The source added that Ronson feels like she is Lohan's "full-time" counsellor.

Last week, Lohan's father accused Ronson of "destroying" the actress's life.
