Lily Allen: 'I'm overexposed'

Lily Allen has complained that she is struggling with being a celebrity and thinks that she is overexposed in the media.

The singer-songwriter was speaking to Lorraine Kelly on GMTV two days after her set at London's G-A-Y nightclub.

She said: "I don't need publicity. It's difficult as you want people to appreciate you for your music.

"People get confused and think you're a celebrity and that's quite hard for me. People can be quite cynical. I feel I'm overexposed."

Allen is currently number one in the single charts and marked the success of her record with a knicker-flashing live show on Saturday.
