Kate Winslet has revealed that she has perfected her "losing face" for film awards ceremonies.
The actress said that she is pleased with her "strange Zen blank calm", mastered when she has lost out in the past.
Winslet, who has been nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in The Reader, reportedly spoke about her practised expression at the 28th annual Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon.
"You know that I have been here so many times and have lost so many times that quite honestly, I have a really good losing face," she said. "I have sort of perfected that strange Zen blank calm that you have to have in the moment when they do not call out your name."
The 33-year-old recently lost out to Tilda Swinton in the Best Actress category at the Evening Standard British Film Awards.
