Publishers Hodder & Stoughton had previously claimed that the book would tell the story of the X Factor winner's rise to fame from waitressing in a Pizza Hut, The Sun reports.
Lewis said: "I'm doing a picture book. A picture speaks a thousand words and I'm a big fan of photography.
"I got a photographer to follow me everywhere I went and I've got pictures of everything."
Last month, the singer announced plans to launch her own "ethical" perfume.
