Jennifer Hudson 'to marry soon'

Jennifer Hudson is planning to marry fiancé David Otunga this month, it has been claimed.

The Dreamgirls star had to put her previous wedding plans on hold following the murder of her mother, brother and nephew last year, the National Enquirer reports.

A source said: "It's going to be real soon. Some people think Valentine's Day. They're head over heels in love.

"She has gone through the worst nightmare of her life and she's finally coming out of it. Everyone is thrilled Jennifer is finally able to move forward again."

The source added that Hudson knows her mother would have wanted her to have a family of her own.

At the weekend, Hudson gave her first public performance since the tragedy, singing the US national anthem before the start of the Super Bowl.

It has since emerged that she lip-synced her performance to a pre-recorded backing track.
