Mickey Rourke and Sean Penn have allegedly put their Oscar feud behind them.

Both men are up for the prestigious best actor gong at this month's Academy Awards, with Wrestler star Rourke reportedly dismissing Penn's chances of winning for his portrayal of a gay politician in Milk.

He allegedly wrote in a text message in December: "Look seans an old friend of mine and i didnt buy his performance at all - thought he did an average pretend acting like he was gay besides hes one of the most homophobic people i kno." [sic]

A source told the New York Post that the pair recently buried the hatchet over drinks at Hollywood's Sunset Tower.

"Mickey had his little Chihuahua with him for moral support - he looked a little nervous around Sean," the spy is quoted as saying. "Everyone knows Sean can hold a grudge. It was weird, though - some guy they both knew came over with a video camera and started recording them."
