Mosshart 'doesn't want Moss on tour'

Kills singer-guitarist Alison Mosshart is not happy about the idea of Kate Moss joining the band on tour, reports say.

A source claims that the band-mate of Moss's boyfriend Jamie Hince is especially upset at the notion of the supermodel joining the group on stage.

The insider told The Mirror: "Kate has never been on tour with The Kills before and Alison believes it should stay this way.

"Poor Jamie is wedged between a rock and a hard place. He wants Kate with him as his girlfriend but at the same time he's desperate to placate Alison by keeping things strictly professional."

The source added that Hince has promised Moss he will allow her on stage during concerts were she to travel to Australia with the band.

Mosshart recently said that it would not be "appropriate" for Moss to record a track with the group, though an insider claimed that she has written half a song which she wants to duet with Hince.

Moss appeared with her then boyfriend Johnny Depp on Oasis's 'Fade Away' contribution to The Help Album for War Child in 1995.

She has since sung with Primal Scream and Babyshambles and had writing credits on four songs on the latter's second album.
