Lily Allen 'flirts' with Simon Cowell

Lily Allen has revealed that she accidentally sent a flirty text message to Simon Cowell while she was on holiday over Christmas.

The popstar told The Sun that she did not realise that she had addressed the text to the X Factor judge until after it was sent.

Allen said: "I was kind of seeing this guy and then it was over. So I texted my godmother in Jamaica and told her and as a joke I said, 'Maybe my next conquest should be Simon Cowell.'

"You know when someone is in your mind and you accidentally text them? He replied, 'Sorry?'"

Allen recently said that she would "love" to join the judging panel of The X Factor, though she has not been approached by producers of the show.
