Miss GB: 'Politicians should recruit Cole'
Published Saturday, Feb 7 2009, 05:14 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly

The 27-year-old model predicted that Cole could successfully encourage young people to vote in elections.
"I would suggest to the main parties that they pick someone loved by the public and mould them into a spokesperson for young people," Garrett told Take 5 magazine.
"Cheryl Cole would be amazing. All she would need to say is 'everyone should use their vote' and that would make a difference. She would definitely bring some glamour into politics too."
Garrett also suggested that the Girls Aloud star could launch a political career of her own following her success on The X Factor.
She explained: "If she stood for Prime Minister, she would definitely win. I'd certainly vote for her."
