Geldof 'affair' caused marriage split

Peaches Geldof's marriage to Max Drummey reportedly ended after she had an affair with another man.

The socialite allegedly dumped the 24-year-old after becoming "besotted" by Donald Cumming, a singer with US rock band The Virgins.

"Peaches has been seeing Donald for weeks. She really likes him," a source told The Sun.

"She couldn't care less about Max. As far as she is concerned she just married him for a laugh and he needs to move on now that she has got bored of him.

"Her dad is relieved she has ended the relationship, which he never believed was ever based on more than alcohol and teen irresponsibility."

The couple announced their divorce over the weekend, just six month after tying the knot in Las Vegas.

"Peaches hasn't learnt a thing from this marriage and couldn't care less what people think of her," the source added.
