Diddy: 'My breath inspired fragrance'

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has claimed that his new fragrance is based on his own breath.

The rap star revealed that his I Am King range took inspiration from the smell of his favourite fruit chewing gum.

He said: "There are certain scents that I like... I always wanna have, like, a fruit base. This one [fragrance] has a blackberry base... and it started from the smell of BubbleYum.

"I was chewing some gum and I was like, 'My breath smells really good, it smells like berry', so it started from there... It smells very masculine and sexy."

It was reported last week that Combs is being sued by artist Tom Patti, who alleged that designs from sculptures he produced in the '80s were ripped off for the rapper's Unforgivable fragrance bottle.
