Usher's wife 'stable' after surgery problems

Usher's wife has suffered medical complications after undergoing plastic surgery in South America.

According to Access Hollywood, Tameka Foster experienced problems following an undisclosed cosmetic procedure in Brazil at the weekend.

"[She] is in [a] stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery," said a representative for the star.

"Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital. No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time."

It has been reported that Dr. Gabriel Hunt, a neurosurgeon from LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, arrived in Brazil yesterday.

Usher pulled out of a scheduled pre-Grammys performance on Sunday in order to fly to his wife's bedside.
