Allen 'still has feelings for Simons'

Lily Allen reportedly still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.

According to Now, her affection for Simons is one of the reasons she broke up with art dealer Jay Joplin.

A friend told the magazine: "Sadly, Lily finds herself comparing every man to Ed.

"Although she’s tried to forget and start afresh, she still has feelings for him,as well as a lot of respect and admiration."

The source added that Allen realised she looked to Joplin as a father figure rather than a lover and felt that he may be on the rebound after separating from his wife in September.

Earlier this month, the popstar told GMTV that she finds it hard to be thought of as a celebrity and does not need publicity.
