Peaches 'didn't tell Bob about divorce'

Peaches Geldof did not tell her father about her divorce before she announced it online, it has been claimed.

According to the London Lite, Peaches's sister Fifi and father Bob first learned that she had split from Max Drummey by reading a gossip website on the internet.

A source said: "Peaches released a statement through her PR team but hadn't even told anyone in her family.

"There were a frantic few phone calls made as they tried to find out what was going on."

The source added that although he would have preferred to have found out another way, Bob was pleased to hear the news because he had never approved of the marriage.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the couple's break-up was a result of Geldof's infidelity with Donald Cumming, a US rock singer with The Virgins.
