Cheeky Girl 'wants Rear of the Year win'

Monica Irimia has revealed that she wants to win this year's Rear of the Year competition.

The former Cheeky Girl told The Sun that she was depressed and anorexic for two years but now feels proud enough to show off her body.

Irimia said: "I work on my body very hard - two to three hours a day. It's like a job.

"I want to be healthy and fit so people won't ever say again that I look like a toothpick.

"It's every girl's dream to win the Rear of the Year competition. I just hope fans will vote for me!"

The Cheeky Girls' mother Margaret said that she is proud of both of her daughters, adding that Monica has "a fabulous bum".

Last month, Monica and her sister Gabriela opened a 99p store on the site of a former Woolworths in Stratford.
