Brand makes call to DJ's grandmother

Russell Brand has reportedly made another radio call to a grandparent, mirroring the Manuelgate storm.

While appearing as a guest on Absolute Radio, Brand was asked by presenter Geoff Lloyd if he would call co-host Annabel Port's grandmother.

The comic quit his BBC Radio 2 show in October after making lewd calls to Andrew Sachs regarding his granddaughter Georgina Baillie.

However, Brand was polite to the presenter's mother in the latest call, saying: "I'm just ringing to say you ought to be very proud of Annabel, she's a lovely, lovely young lady."
