Stars' details found on eBay Blackberry

The details of a number of A-list celebrities have been found on a Blackberry purchased on eBay, including those of Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Julie Walters.

Insurance worker Kent Devey, 28, purchased the device for £16, then discovered contacts for more than 50 celebrities.

The mobile phone numbers and email addresses of Kevin Spacey, Stephen Fry, Louis Walsh, Julianne Moore, Michael Gambon and Paul O'Grady were among those stored on the device, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Kent, from Oldbury, said that he was examining his new purchase when he realised some numbers had not been wiped. "Then I started to go through the numbers already saved on the phone and as I scrolled through I started to recognise some of the names and then I saw Jude Law's number," he said.

"And then I came across Michael Gambon's number - he is one of my favourite actors so I felt pretty privileged."

Kent revealed that he was unconvinced until he called a few of the stars, adding: "I told my brother and he didn't believe it, so we decided to ring a couple of the numbers. So when I got Julie Walters's answerphone, I was speechless."
