Sophie Winkleman to wed Freddie Windsor

Royal Freddie Windsor is engaged to actress Sophie Winkleman, it has emerged.

The son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent proposed to Winkleman on Valentine's Day and the couple plan to marry later this year.

A spokesperson for Windsor said: "It is with very great pleasure that Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and Mr and Mrs Barry Winkleman announce the engagement of Lord Frederick Windsor to Miss Sophie Winkleman."

Last year, Winkleman played the role of Princess Eleanor in ITV drama The Palace, which explored the lives of a fictional Royal Family.

The 27-year-old is best known for her part as Big Suze in Channel 4 comedy Peep Show.
