Goody: 'I want to walk down the aisle'

Jade Goody has said that she wants to get married outside her hospital and walk down the aisle on her wedding day.

It was previously thought that the former Big Brother star would marry in the chapel at the Royal Marsden Hospital, but The Sun reports that she would rather wed elsewhere.

Goody said: "I am going to die in this hospital, so I don't want to get married here.

"But wherever we tie the knot, I'm determined to walk down that aisle. I've lost my balance and the doctors aren't sure if it's a sign that the cancer has spread to the brain or if it's just weakness.

"But I'm hoping I will have the strength to walk on my big day. It would be so cruel to be robbed of that one last thing as well."

A spokesman for Harrods confirmed yesterday that its chairman had given Goody a wedding dress worth £3,500 after she went to the store at the weekend.

Earlier this week, Goody's publicist Max Clifford revealed that Elton John had offered to host her wedding at his £20 million mansion in Windsor.
