The singer-songwriter told the Daily Record that her partner Stevie Lovell took her out to a top London eating establishment.
She said: "Stevie took me for an amazing dinner at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Claridges. I never really go to upmarket places as I get embarrassed."
She added that Falkirk footballer Lovell had also converted a whole room in her house into a wardrobe: "It's like a clothes shop, but I'm beginning to run out of room."
Last year, MacDonald warned that X Factor winner Alexandra Burke may not have a long-lasting music career, saying that she may be used as a means to make money for Simon Cowell.
