Efron buys $1 million Hollywood home

Zac Efron has reportedly splashed out $1 million on a new home in Hollywood.

According to The Mirror, the actor's new house boasts an 'infinity pool', and offers panoramic views across Los Angeles.

However, the High School Musical 3 star has insisted that his new property is "very modest".

"I don't have a bed. I'm on an air mattress!", the actor said. "I've just moved in, I have no furniture. But I've got a decorator. He's kind of a friend.

"It's pretty cool. A lot of my friends were like, 'Dude, I want to own a house.'"

Earlier this week, Efron was rumoured to be joining The Rock in a movie adaptation of 1960s cartoon series The Adventures Of Jonny Quest.
