Kylie Minogue 'can relate to Goody'

Kylie Minogue has sent a message of hope to Jade Goody as the former Big Brother star continues her fight against cancer.

The pop superstar was herself diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, but has been in remission since 2006 following surgery and chemotherapy.

Of Goody, Minogue told The Mirror: "It's so sad. What can you say?

"I would like to send her a message wishing her all the best, and I hope she does make a recovery.

"I can relate to an extent to what Jade's going through - it is so tough."

Earlier this week, Prime Minister Gordon Brown praised Goody's determination to provide for her family despite her illness.
