Perry 'pukes' backstage at Brit Awards

Katy Perry was forced to leave the Brit Awards early after vomiting backstage.

The 'I Kissed A Girl' star reportedly felt unwell during the day but attended the event to pick up the gong for best international female.

Shortly after being given the award she was sick and promptly left the venue. The singer then sent a message to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton saying that she felt very punk rock to "barf and bail".

Perry is currently preparing for a trio of live shows in London and Manchester kicking off on February 24.
