Cross, Mahoney celebrate twins' birthday

Marcia Cross's husband took a break from cancer treatment yesterday to join a family celebration for their twin daughters' first birthday.

A representative for the Desperate Housewives star confirmed Tom Mahoney's diagnosis last month, adding that the stockbroker is responding well to treatment.

Cross has recently been seen regularly joining Mahoney at an LA treatment centre, where he is undergoing chemotherapy.

However, the Daily Mail reports that Mahoney smiled as he and Cross stepped out with Eden and Savannah for the children's big day.

The couple married in June 2006, with Cross's co-stars Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman among the 220 guests at the ceremony.
