Patel, Pinto seen browsing for ring

Slumdog Millionaire leads Dev Patel and Freida Pinto reportedly spent Valentine's Day together looking at rings.

The on-screen couple were seen in an Oxford Street jewellers browsing gems, while rumours of their blossoming romance spread.

A witness told The Sun that the pair were happy to sign autographs and talk to fans.

"Dev and Freida seemed completely smitten with each other. They paid particular attention to one of the cabinets which was full of the more expensive rings stocked by the store chain," the source said.

"They didn't buy anything in the end, but they certainly spent plenty of time studying the range."

Fellow Slumdog star Anil Kapoor has said that they make a "great pair" and that he sees their relationship as the "start of something exciting", adding: "When I meet them I feel there is something happening."

Pinto, 24, reportedly split with her fiancé Rohan Antao last month after being "overwhelmed" by the success of the movie.
