Jamie Spears reportedly spent 90 minutes telling LA's Superior Court why the temporary restraining orders placed against the two men should be made long-term.
Describing Lutfi as a "predator" and "very dangerous", he accused him of grinding medication into his daughter's food and attempting to contact her through a mutual friend.
However, the former chef admitted that he had no proof of any conversations between the pair other than a pre-paid mobile phone that showed Spears had called her former friend on one occasion.
Concluding, he insisted that Lutfi was "very dangerous to [his] daughter", adding: "He causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief in her mind and that she's lost without him."
Speaking to OK!, Lutfi's attorney insisted that he was happy with how the hearing had gone, saying: "There isn't anything in Jamie's testimony or in the court papers that prove Sam and Britney even had one actual confirmed phone conversation.
"It's hard to prove 'harassment' if you can't prove they've even talked once in 11 months."
The judge delayed ruling on the restraining orders until Wednesday but agreed to extend the current orders until then. Spears was giving his evidence early because he will be travelling later in the week.
