Rihanna 'went out for 21st birthday'

Rihanna reportedly went to the cinema to celebrate her 21st birthday before heading to a nightclub with friends.

Earlier reports had suggested that the singer spent her birthday alone after cancelling her party, but Life&Style has claimed that she instead went to a club in the Hollywood Hills.

A friend of the star said: "People were scrambling at her feet to make sure her every wish was granted. She was a bit shy at first and kept her glasses on most of the night.

"But once she saw her old crew and got used to being out, she really got into it. She was even dancing!"

Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has reportedly been showering her with gifts to win her back after he apologised for the alleged domestic abuse incident that led both to miss the Grammys.
