Barlow: 'I will lead climbers'

Gary Barlow has said that he will lead the climbers to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro when the celebrities start their Comic Relief expedition on Friday.

The Take That singer recently became injured as a result of his training schedule, but The Sun reports that he has been responding well to treatment.

Barlow said: "We have all been training for about six months and it's been going really great for me - then in January I had a bad injury in my back.

"But don't worry, it's healing fast and I'm going to be leading the pack."

Earlier this month, fellow climber Alesha Dixon revealed that she was finding it hard to prepare for the trek because it had been over a year since she trained for Strictly Come Dancing.
