Westwood 'doesn't recognise Kanye West'

Vivienne Westwood reportedly failed to recognise rapper Kanye West when the pair were introduced after her show at Kensington Olympia last weekend.

West has become increasingly involved in the fashion world and has announced plans to move to London to complete an apprenticeship at Louis Vuitton on Bond Street.

A source told thelondonpaper: "Kanye went straight over to Vivienne and began telling her he was a huge fan and he had enjoyed her show.

"But Vivienne had to ask a friend who he was, telling them: 'I think he's famous in America.'"

Westwood recently enlisted former Playboy covergirl Pamela Anderson as her muse for her upcoming fashion collection.
