MCR want fans' old Red Bull cans

My Chemical Romance have appealed for people to send them empty Red Bull cans.

Writing on the band's official blog, drummer Bob Bryar asked fans to donate their old containers so that he could finish building a wall of Red Bull cans in his home.

"I hope to have the entire wall done by the time we finish the record. We are taking donations for it. Please collect every Red Bull can that you can find," he said.

Bryar later amended his post, saying: "Now that I think about it more just send whatever. An old suitcase... a remote that you dont know what it's for... a shoe, etc."

Earlier this month, the band announced that they have started work on the follow-up to their 2006 LP Welcome To The Black Parade.
