Banksy Kate Moss prints fail to sell

Six limited edition prints of Kate Moss by Banksy have failed to sell at auction.

Originally produced in a limited run of 20 sets, most of the Andy Warhol-inspired pictures were sold separately, increasing the rarity of a complete set.

The collection was expected to fetch up to £150,000 at the Urban Art Sale at Bonhams auction house.

Prior to the sale, head of department Gareth Williams said: "The urban art market remains buoyant judging by the interest this sale has aroused once more and we are pleased to continue to offer significant works by the most important artists in this field."

George Michael and Angelina Jolie are among celebrities who have bought works by Banksy in the past.
