Joan Rivers has reportedly mocked Angelina Jolie's apparent obsession with adoption.

The comic told the Rachael Ray Show that Jolie wanted a front row seat at the Oscars in the hope that one of the child stars from Slumdog Millionaire would fall off the stage.

Rivers, 75, said: "I thought what was interesting was that they sat in the front row even though they kind of knew they weren't going to get anything. But I think that she was hoping that one of the Slumdog kids would fall off. Grab it, take it home."

Last June, Rivers was taken off ITV1's Loose Women panel after calling Russell Crowe a "f**king s**t".

The comedienne went on to say that she was sorry, only to later retract her apology by remarking: "At my age I should be able to say what the hell I want."
