Clooney: 'Beckham not renting my house'

George Clooney has dismissed reports that David Beckham has moved into his Italian home while on loan at AC Milan.

According to Hello!, the Ocean's Eleven star had agreed to sublease his Lake Como estate to Beckham for the duration of his stay in the country.

However, a representative for Clooney has insisted that the claim is "100% not true", telling E! News: "George is filming in America at this time. He is not renting his house to anyone and that would include David."

The pair had reportedly struck up a friendship after being introduced by designer Giorgio Armani at last year's Met Ball.

Beckham is scheduled to return to his Los Angeles team LA Galaxy next week, unless a transfer deal with the Italian club can be agreed.
