Goody fears she has just days left

Jade Goody is trying to bring the christening of her sons forward because she fears she has just days to live.

The terminally ill 27-year-old was taken to a hospice on Friday and told friends she was "not going to make it to the weekend", reports the Sunday Mirror.

A friend said: "The courage Jade is showing really beggars belief. She's been in utter pain and at times is extremely anxious- yet she's being typically selfless and can only think about what's right for her boys."

The christening was due to take place next weekend and is expected to be carried out by Bishop Jonathan Blake, who blessed Goody and husband Jack Tweed's wedding last weekend.

Goody, who is determined to die at home and hopes to leave the hospice on Monday, has also received a handwritten note from David and Victoria Beckham and two AC Milan football strips for her sons.

The note read: 'Both David and I are genuinely moved by your fight against this cruel illness. We are both thinking of you at what must be a terrible time."
