Jade Goody 'will get christened'

Jade Goody is planning to get christened before she dies, it has emerged.

Her publicist Max Clifford told The Sun that a "sobbing" Goody had spoken to him on the phone after she was transferred to hospital from her hospice bed.

Clifford said: "It's absolutely horrible to hear a young girl in so much pain. Especially as over the weekend she was actually feeling a lot brighter.

"She was looking forward to going home and organising the christening of herself and her two boys.

"It will be a local church, then a party for all the children. She wants to make it as big a party as possible. Jade is also going to get christened herself. She wanted to do that."

He added that Goody had suffered hallucinations because of an imbalance in her medication which was "nobody's fault", and confirmed that her original admission to the hospice was to correct this.

Goody's sons are due to be christened this Saturday, though it was claimed at the weekend that she may bring this date forward because of fears she will not live that long.
