Amy Winehouse moving to Barnet?

Amy Winehouse is reportedly planning to move house to the north London suburb Barnet.

According to The Mirror, the singer doesn't want to spend any time in Camden because it "holds bad memories" for her.

"Amy has had a wonderful two months living the high life in St Lucia and, of course, she's sad to be back to reality," said a source. "But after getting her act together and staying off the drugs, she's determined to stay clean.

"[While] she was away her mum Janis went house-hunting on Amy's behalf, looking at pads near her own."

Winehouse's new property is allegedly a Regency-style four-bedroom townhouse worth an estimated £1.4 million.

"Janis wants Amy close to her, so she can keep a strict eye on her daughter," added the insider. "The move is to ensure Amy stays out of harm's way and focuses on making great music."
