Mel B auctions off clothes for charity

Melanie Brown is putting her clothes up for grabs in an online auction designed to raise cash for charity.

Items under the hammer at the former Spice Girl's official website include python hot pants and a pair of yellow velour bell bottoms with a matching bra. Tour costumes, a bangle worn on Dancing With The Stars, designer handbags and personal clothes are also among items going on sale.

Brown, 33, has launched the project with US showbiz blogger Perez Hilton and said that all money raised will be split between the Los Angeles Children's Hospital and Meals On Wheels.

Last September, Mel B auctioned off the entire contents of her UK home to raise cash for Clic, which helps support youngsters and their families with the trauma of a cancer diagnosis.
