Osbourne sued over TV attack

Sharon Osbourne has been sued by a Playboy model who claims that she attacked her on a US reality TV show.

The former X Factor judge has been accused of grabbing Megan Hauserman, 27, by the hair, scratching her and pouring a drink over her during a taping of VH1's Rock Of Love: Charm School.

According to E! News, the lawsuit states that Hauserman was "grievously and permanently injured and hurt in her health, strength and activity" and "will be prevented from attending to any occupation in the future".

She has alleged battery, negligence and an intention to inflict emotional distress. A jury trial has been requested, along with possible punitive damages to include past, present and future medical expenses, loss of earnings and loss of business opportunities.

Speaking to AP, Hauserman's lawyer said: "It's pretty hard to deny what happened on the video."

Osbourne reportedly lost her temper after Hauserman accused her of only being famous for managing a "brain dead rocker".

Earlier this year, the 56-year-old defended her actions, saying: "It shows you how dumb she is. Anyone who knows anything about me knows not to say anything about my family or you're going to get it."

Representatives for Osbourne have yet to comment.
