McGee feuds with Manics biographer

Former Creation Records boss Alan McGee has had an online spat with Manic Street Preachers biographer and journalist Simon Price.

After he recently Twittered McGee to insult Oasis, Price commented on his attendance at Tina Turner's comeback tour.

McGee wrote: "F*** off Simon, was it a nostalgia tour from the '60s you went to see?" Price responded: "Yeah, sorry Alan, I can't compete with your rigorous futurism."

McGee responded: "I know Simon I read your articles", to which Price replied: "Good one. Is this the same anti-nostalgia Alan who took out a full page ad about how important the Sex Pistols reunion tour was?"

The feud continued with Price claiming that McGee had "resorted to homophobia" and "been hanging around with the Gallagher chimps too long" in response to now-deleted posts from McGee.

McGee replied that that Price was a "f***ing div" and "an uptight pc divvy".

Price called McGee the "Littlejohn/Clarkson of the internet" and said that he "got rich on the back of a s*** band" before telling him he could "afford to get those wingnut ears pinned back".

McGee wrote: "I love losers like Simon. You have to admire the fact he's fat ugly and wears a dress badly."

Price replied: "Now McGee's BLOCKED me, the poor sensitive lamb. If you dish it out, you've got to take it."
