The Transformers star was reported to have ended her five-year relationship with Brian Austin Green last month after both actors admitted that their romance had "run its course".
However, an unnamed source told E! News that the pair "seemed like a normal couple" during a grocery trip to a West Hollywood supermarket on Monday.
"They weren’t holding hands or anything," added the insider. "She was just sort of following him around."
The duo were later spotted furniture shopping before heading back to Green's Los Angeles home.
Speculation that Fox is still dating the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star began earlier this week when the pair announced that they would be teaming up to produce a big screen adaptation of comic book Fathom.
A representative for Fox has declined to comment.
