Mead: 'Denise and I clicked instantly'

Lee Mead has revealed that he and Denise Van Outen "clicked instantly" when they met on the set of Any Dream Will Do.

The singer told the Daily Mail that he did not know if Van Outen fancied him at first because he was too busy concentrating on singing to millions of people.

He said: "Of course I fancied Denise. It was great. I won the show and I found my wife.

"Me and Denise clicked instantly. We had the same sense of humour, but also we could be silent with each other. I knew at once it was right.

"She is very down to earth, which is refreshing in this business."

Mead confirmed that the pair will marry later this year, adding that he is looking forward to having children.
