Longoria-Parker to waitress for charity

Eva Longoria Parker has secured £26,400 for a 9/11 charity by offering her services as a waitress for a night.

The Desperate Housewives star has promised to wear an apron and to make her "tableside guacamole" for the winning bidders, who secured her employment at a charity auction she hosted in Hollywood this week.

Cash raised from the event will go to the New York Rescue Workers Detox Project which benefits emergency workers injured during the World Trade Centre attacks, says WENN.

Other celebrities at the event included Danny Masterson, Leah Remini, Simon Cowell and Wilmer Valderrama.
