Morgan shocked by Price's abuse revelation

Piers Morgan has admitted that he was stunned when Katie Price spoke about being sexually abused on his chatshow.

Glamour model Price revealed that she had been attacked by a stranger at the age of six when she filmed an episode of Piers Morgan's Life Stories recently.

The star broke down in tears as she discussed the ordeal for the first time, while her husband Peter Andre watched from the studio audience.

"I've never seen her cry like that on TV, she just lost it," Morgan told Hot TV magazine.

"It's an extraordinary moment which just came out of nowhere. She's as tough as old boots but this made her cry. I think Peter knew something about it."

Morgan also confirmed that he would be keen to interview David and Victoria Beckham if the programme is recommissioned by ITV.

He added: "I wonder if David could sustain an hour? Possibly. Victoria could, she'd be great, but I think he'd run out of things to say in about 20 minutes!"

Price's episode of Life Stories airs on ITV1 at 10pm tomorrow.
