The couple, who divorced in 2006, were reported to have rekindled their romance after Barker was seriously injured in a plane crash last September.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Moakler said: "We would like to renew our vows and have another wedding. It's not so much about the wedding but about having a celebration of each other and getting through all the crazy things we've been through."
The former beauty queen was reported to have flown to Barker's bedside after he suffered severe burns in the crash, which killed four other passengers and injured his friend Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM.
She added: "When you almost lose a loved one, it makes you appreciate things you took for granted."
The couple have two young children together: Landon, five, and three-year-old Alabama.
