Spears romancing long-time talent agent?

Britney Spears has reportedly begun dating her long-time talent agent Jason Trawick.

According to E! News, the singer has been spotted enjoying a string of dates with the 37-year-old, who has represented her for about five years.

The couple were first reported to have grown close after he accompanied her on holiday to Costa Rica last May. They were later photographed together at a birthday party in Los Angeles.

An unnamed insider revealed that Spears "liked to joke about" her close professional and personal connection to Trawick, who has been credited with securing her critically-acclaimed cameo in How I Met Your Mother.

However, another source has dismissed the rumours of a romance as "ridiculous", insisting that the pair share a "close professional relationship".

Trawick, who also represents Hilary Duff and Paris Hilton, has declined to comment on the report, referring all requests to Spears's publicist, who would only confirm that Trawick had been travelling with Spears on her 'Circus' world tour but had now returned to Los Angeles.

Since splitting from her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib in March last year, Spears has been linked to a string of men, including billionaire hotelier George Maloof and Bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.
