Tweed rushes to Goody's side

Jade Goody's husband was rushed to her side last night after the star's health apparently took a turn for the worse.

Probation officials lifted Jack Tweed's curfew so that the newly-weds could be together in what a source coined as "an emergency".

Goody's spokesman Max Clifford told The Sun: "The nurse decided he must be there as she was in so much pain. We don't know at this stage how serious it is.

"There must have been a significant change in her condition for Jack to be there."

Tweed's parole conditions normally restrict him to spending just Thursday and Saturday nights with the 27-year-old.

Clifford added that Goody plans to celebrate Mother's Day tomorrow, a week ahead of the actual date. The terminally-ill former Big Brother contestant had earlier revealed that she was "immensely proud" after the government agreed to a review of the current cervical cancer screening age limit. A panel will now consider if it should be lowered from 25 to 20 in England.
