Katona, Croft 'argued over finances'

Kerry Katona decided to dump Mark Croft following a row over their finances, it has been claimed.

According to the News Of The World, the reality TV star lost faith in her husband after discovering that he had invested £455,000 into his Modena Developments firm without her knowledge.

Croft reportedly passed a secret bank statement to Katona this week as he decided to come clean about his stash of money. The incident is believed to have occurred after his wife complained that she could not afford to pay the bills.

A source told the newspaper: "He stuck it under her nose and said: 'Here you go, we've got the money. So just stop bloody worrying about it'.

"All of Kerry's earnings are paid to her company KK Media, and she had no idea how such a sum came to be in Modena's account. It shook her faith in Mark badly and she asked him to leave."

Katona later told a friend: "This has to end. Mark's bled me dry. He won't take another penny of my money."

The former popstar confirmed that she is divorcing her husband earlier this week. She is now expected to be filmed over the next two months for a new MTV reality series, titled Kerry Katona: The Divorce.
