A judge in Los Angeles has reportedly quashed a $50,000 arrest warrant that was issued for Lindsay Lohan.

Last week, Beverly Hills Police confirmed that they were seeking the Mean Girls star in relation to a drink driving offence that dated back to 2007.

According to People, a lawyer representing the actress appeared at L.A.'s Superior Court this morning with evidence proving that the 22-year-old had not violated the terms of her probation agreement in connection to the offence.

"The warrant is quashed and set aside," said Judge Marsha Revel. "I've seen additional proof...that Lohan has been compliant with [her] programme. There is no indication of dirty [drug] tests."

The actress was arrested in 2007 on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was later sentenced to one day behind bars and placed on probation for 36 months. She was also instructed to complete an 18-month alcohol-education programme and ten days of community service with the American Red Cross.

Lohan, who was not present in court for the brief hearing, has been given until April 3 to prove that she has enrolled in a new alcohol-education programme in order to become fully compliant with her probation.
