Goody: 'I don't want sons to see me die'

Jade Goody has told her family and friends that she does not want her sons to see her die, it has emerged.

The reality TV star's mother Jackiey Budden and husband Jack Tweed had been at her bedside as her condition deteriorated, The Sun reports.

A family friend said: "Jack and Jackiey are waiting for the end. The boys may come over again if Jade wakes up, but she made it very clear she didn't want them to see her die.

"Jade has always been strong and will be fighting even in her sleep. But her body has been ravaged and is now succumbing completely.

"But she's at peace, in no pain and sleeping comfortably. Everyone's grateful for at least this small mercy."

Publicist Max Clifford added: "She's been sleeping. I understand that will get deeper."

Former Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty was forced to cancel her planned visit because Goody was too ill to see her.
